Our Mission

At Grip Grind Glory, we’re reimagining judo for a new generation of fighters.

The ones who didn’t start young. Who don’t chase medals.

The underdogs, late bloomers, and quiet rebels still showing up and still fighting.

This isn’t about tradition for tradition’s sake.
It’s about training with meaning—on the mat and in life.

Through mindset-driven challenges, raw conversations, and a community that backs your growth, we give modern-day judoka a path that fits who they are now.

You don’t need permission.

You need a reason.

This is your culture. Your fight. Your time.

You belong here. You grow here.

Meet Balazs

I’m Balazs — co-founder of Grip Grind Glory, long-time judoka, and the coach behind the physical training that sharpens your edge.

I’ve been on the mat for over 40 years, and here’s what I’ve learned: more judo doesn’t always make you better.

But building the right traits—like grip strength, speed, endurance, and balance—does.

At GGG, I design off-the-mat challenges that develop the foundations most judoka never get time to train.

These aren’t extras. They’re what give your judo staying power.

Meet Anna

I’m Anna — founder of Grip Grind Glory and the voice behind the podcast, the blog, and the fire that fuels this movement.

I didn’t start judo young, and I never fit the mould. But I stayed in the fight—and I built GGG for people like me.

This isn’t about chasing belts or living in someone else’s dojo.
It’s about reclaiming your identity through movement, mindset, and a community that doesn’t ask you to shrink.

I created Grip Grind Glory for the underdogs, rebuilders, and late starters who train for something bigger than winning.

You don’t need to be perfect.

You just need to show up.

This Is More Than Judo.

Most clubs teach technique.
But what about the strength behind the throw?

The grit between sessions?

The feeling of finally belonging somewhere?

Grip Grind Glory is a movement for judoka who train with purpose—
not just for competition, but for growth, edge, and power on their own terms.

If you’ve ever felt behind, overlooked, or like judo was built for someone else—
this is your place.

We’re starting with community and physical challenges:
real training, real support, and a tribe that gets it.

Inside GGG, we:

✔️ Train with purpose – building grip, speed, balance, and endurance off the mat
✔️ Support each other – with honest conversations and no belt-flexing
✔️ Show up differently – not just to get better, but to own how we train

Each challenge is built to unlock something new.

Each conversation is a reminder—you’re not alone.

Each week, a chance to feel stronger and more in control.

Because you didn’t come this far just to take part.

You came to level up.

And we’re just getting started.

You belong here. You grow here.
